Dr. Deanne Nakamoto, M.D.
Dr. Deanne Nakamoto joined Achieve in 2010. She specializes in glaucoma (damage to the optic nerve) and uveitis (inflammation in the eye).
Dr. Nakamoto was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University in Biochemistry and her Medical Doctor degree from Yale School of Medicine. She then completed an Internal Medicine internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut. Her Ophthalmology residency was served at Yale-New Haven Hospital and the Yale Eye Center, where she also served as Chief Resident in
Dr. Nakamoto completed a fellowship in glaucoma and ocular inflammatory disease at Eye Disease Consultants, LLC, in Hartford, Connecticut. She specializes in the medical and surgical management (both laser and incisional surgery) of glaucoma.
